We are happy to report that the repairs to the water system at Weehawken High School were completed today ahead of schedule. As stated yesterday, the discolored water was a result of rusting in a tank associated with the hot water heater. All of the pipes have been flushed and the water is now running clear. Further, we received laboratory results certifying that water samples taken from faucets in the high school conform to the New Jersey State Safe Drinking Water Act regulations. The precautionary measures we took are consistent with our commitment to the health, safety, and security of the students and staff of Weehawken Township School District. Thank you for your patience.
