Create a basic outline about something that you like as explained in class.
If you are unsure how to go about it, start with a favorite topic such as baseball, and list the steps it would take to learn how to play the sport, pitch, field, throw and catch. What kind of equipment do you need to buy?  Where can you practice? etc...etc...etc...

If you're reading a book, tell me about the story in the order of events; for example,  number the components of the setting, name the characters, and list actions that take place.
